Cancel Your Subscription
Cancel a paid HeyMotion plan anytime from your account page through the Stripe billing portal. Your work stays yours, and you keep paid features until the end of the period you've paid for.
You can cancel a paid HeyMotion plan at any time. Cancellation is self-serve through the Stripe billing portal, reachable from your account page.
#How to cancel
- Go to your account page.
- Open the billing controls (the Manage billing option), which take you to the Stripe billing portal.
- Choose to cancel your subscription there. You'll get an email confirmation from Stripe.
#What happens when you cancel
You keep your paid features until the end of the billing period you've already paid for — cancelling doesn't cut you off mid-cycle. After that, your account moves to the Free plan: the studio still works, but Free limits apply again (720p, small watermark, 5 exports/month, starter template set).
#Your work is safe
Cancelling does not delete anything. Your saved presets, brand kit, and creations stay on your account, and anything you've already exported is yours to keep — exports are downloaded to your own computer and are never tied to your subscription.
#Refunds
If you think you were charged in error, contact support@heymotion.io and we'll sort it out.
#Founding members
If you cancel a founding subscription, you give up the locked-for-life $9/mo rate. Re-subscribing later would be at the standard rate, so only cancel if you're sure.
